Write on.
When you’ve worked with internationally-recognized brands like I have, you’ve got to think outside the (text) box. In 2015, I got my first taste of digital marketing working for a small digital agency. It included small-business clients from all over the country. Soon after, my words took me to the next level; I was able to join one of South Florida’s largest ad agencies as a copywriter. It was there where I could hone my skills and witness their impact (view my work to see what I mean).
Due to unprecedented times, I served on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic as a contact tracer for the State of Florida from 2020 to 2021. Despite being out of my field, my experience has allowed me to serve the community in ways I could’ve never imagined through crisis communication, investigative questioning, and comprehensive note-taking. These skills I developed only proved the importance of distilling communication to its purest, most accessible form.
As we entered a “post-COVID” landscape, I took initiative and re-entered the creative sphere as a copywriter for one of Florida’s biggest furniture companies. We have been producing both exciting and emotional things together since 2021.
When I’m not using my words for work, I’m a genre-defying singer-songwriter and an amateur photographer. Go explore my portfolio to find out more.
